The Russian UNAMID pilot who was missing following an incident that took place last week, was returned safely, Thursday to the UNAMID offices in Nyala, south Darfur
The mission said in statement it issued Thursday that a UNAMID helicopter, with Sudanese officer and UNAMID officer from the mission on board, took off to Um-Sedir area, 55 km North Nyala and 50 km East Kass, to bring back the Russian missing pilot
The statement added that the helicopter landed in Nyala at 8:15 pm with the Russian captain on board |
