Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, has called for exerting more efforts in the good preparation of Sudan for Sudan membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO).
This came when the Vice-President received Sunday at the Republican Palace the Minister of International Cooperation, Osman Wash.
The minister has informed Hassabo on outcome of the participation of Sudan delegation at meetings of the WTO membership which were held last January in Geneva.
He said that Sudan call for membership has received positive response from the Arab and African Groups, the European Union, the United States, Japan, Russia, China and India, indicating that all these countries have supported Sudan membership in the WTO.
He said that Sudan will respond in the coming period to questions that were directed to it.
